JR Smith Crazy Nice in NBA 2K11

JR Smith and Javale McGee are in my opinion the ultimate sleeper players in the NBA 2K11. JR Smith has high 80+ shooting ratings, speed, but his dunking ability is what separates him from some all star players like Manu Ginoboli. How many players in the game have an 80+ three point shot and an 80+ dunk? Three players do: JR Smith, Nicolas Batum, and Rudy Gay. What also makes JR Smith the beast that he is in this game is the other stuff. His shooting related player tendency’s are extremely high. His 87 shot tendency and 72 3pt shot tendency (second highest in the game) are extremely high and rare for any player. So the game is cool with you just abusing him often while players like Nash, with low shot tendency’s, do not want you taking shots over and over with him otherwise you’ll start missing everything. So this is why JR Smith is one of my favorite players in the game. Also i forgot to mention his isomotion animations are some of the best in the game also.. Very cool play starting at the defensive end. Serge Iblockyass does just that leading to the fast break and Durant left one on one. KD does a sick crossover step back move leaving the defender out of position to contest the shot… And he finishes in style with a fade away banker from the three point line. Check out the video of todays NBA 2K11 play of the day!

This is one of the most vicious blocks i have see in NBA 2K11. Ranked match my Bulls playing the Lakers. This dude trys to spin dunk on me and it’s user swatted practically out of the United Center.

Best Dunker?

Wesley Johnson is the best dunker in NBA 2K11? He is the most aggressive going to the basket and rarely goes into a layup animation.. My dude is always looking to dunk over people. He has his own dunk package also which is surprising considering he is a rookie. Who are some other top dunkers in NBA 2K11? King Lebron, Derozan, Griffin, and believe it or not James Harden lol are some other top dunkers. Check out the video you’ll see whats up.

Super Spin Dunk

This is a sick and NBA Jam caliber dunk in NBA 2K11 from the baseline.. Watch from where I get wade actually starting the spin dunk animation from and taking off and see where he lands. Pretty vicious! Check out my breakdown on this and some other spin dunking tips in the Area 51 section over in the forums (hoopsgaming.com) From the baseline i am calling this the Super Spin Dunk because this is way crazier then the standard spin dunking animations you get.. D Wade = beast.

What’s up with everyone picking Ohio State? I know they are the best team and favorite to win but thats no way to try and win a pool. Everyone is picking them like the NBA 2K11 Miami Heat. Thing is if everyone in your pool picks Ohio State to win and if they do actually win it, you better hope you picked all the sleeper teams right. I have Kansas winning it all with Texas and BYU in the final four as my sleeper picks. Will see how that goes. Gonzaga looks super tough, I think they could be this years sleeper team. What does your final four look like? Right now i’m tied for second place out of 30 people in my pool. Either Texas or BYU makes the final four with Kansas winning it all i got this locked up!

Exposed

Perhaps a reason why you should not quit or pull the plug when playing online in NBA 2K11. You never know when you could become exposed and featured in a youtube video showing your true colors and skills on the sticks. Nevertheless a sick video from one of our forum members called “Rage”(click here to check out his youtube). Or you can be like me and sarcastically say “GG!” And get a reply back like “fxxx you! your mom is a…” It’s crazy how angry some dudes will get after getting slapped around silly in a ranked match.

Breaking Ankles

Sorry Carmelo and Ray Allen for making yall look like a fool in this video lol. I really like both players but they ended up getting exposed off the dribble in this NBA 2K11 ankle breaking isomotion video. A little tip don’t play to much off ball defense against me online or you’ll look like the fool with rubber legs also haha.
