JR Smith and Javale McGee are in my opinion the ultimate sleeper players in the NBA 2K11. JR Smith has high 80+ shooting ratings, speed, but his dunking ability is what separates him from some all star players like Manu Ginoboli. How many players in the game have an 80+ three point shot and an 80+ dunk? Three players do: JR Smith, Nicolas Batum, and Rudy Gay. What also makes JR Smith the beast that he is in this game is the other stuff. His shooting related player tendency’s are extremely high. His 87 shot tendency and 72 3pt shot tendency (second highest in the game) are extremely high and rare for any player. So the game is cool with you just abusing him often while players like Nash, with low shot tendency’s, do not want you taking shots over and over with him otherwise you’ll start missing everything. So this is why JR Smith is one of my favorite players in the game. Also i forgot to mention his isomotion animations are some of the best in the game also.. Very cool play starting at the defensive end. Serge Iblockyass does just that leading to the fast break and Durant left one on one. KD does a sick crossover step back move leaving the defender out of position to contest the shot… And he finishes in style with a fade away banker from the three point line. This is one of the most vicious blocks i have see in NBA 2K11. Ranked match my Bulls playing the Lakers. This dude trys to spin dunk on me and it’s user swatted practically out of the United Center.
