Post Moves: High Post Jumper

This NBA 2K11 quick tip video shows how to hit jumpers from the post at a high percentage. Simply use the glass holding down the left trigger. You can also roll to either side by holding the left stick in the direction you want to shoot from. Players like Dirk, Kobe, Melo, Manu, and anyone else with good offensive awareness and mid range can light it up with this move. It requires a perfect user contest to contain this move. For instance if my opponent is playing off ball D mostly during the game i’ll go to this move much more. There is also no release point on any type of post moves so you do not have to worry about getting perfect release. Check out the video:

Advanced Pick & Roll Tips

This is a nice tactic that has worked in NBA 2K games for years now. Call out a pick and roll with a player that can shoot real well preferably from three point land. Brush the on ball defender into the pick slowly and cut back quickly to the opposite side. This will create some pretty good space for a deep jumper or three point shot. Since the shot you will be taking is an off dribble one i suggest using a player that has a good shot off dribble and offensive awareness rating. Check out the video:
