According to ESPN. 2KSports is trying to land Michael Jordan on the NBA 2K11 Cover as well as making him playable in the game. 2KSports is surely taking a different route this year with there pre-launch marketing scheme. Sounds like an awesome idea i am sure fans will enjoy. If your like me, one who has wanted a playable Michael Jordan for years now, then this is huge news. If this goes down we will see alot of NBA Live fans coming over to NBA 2K11 this year to ball with Jordan. I would assume he will be on both legend teams: 80′s east and 90′s east. In previous years we have been stuck making Michael Jordan CAPS like the very nice and accurate one you see in this video below.

So i made this video showing a really sick NBA 2K10 floater, though its more of a combo move and only a few players can pull this off. Off the top of my head this move is nice with Rudy Gay, Kevin Martin, and Andre Miller because all 3 have a nasty spin move, great offensive awareness, and most importantly this same floater animation. What you do is spin move using the left stick or use ALT A control configuration because you can spin on the press of a button (called easy-iso.) With these players the spin almost always will blow by any on ball defensive player. So if you time it right pull up for a floater holding the right stick back without pressing any of the triggers. Check out the video below:
This is my official list of top 5 teams to look out for in NBA 2K11. I came up with this based on several factors including player injury’s, NBA draft implications, recent trades, and current players that are typically dominate in the game despite a low overall rating. So lets get to it at #5 – The Cavs will be beastly assuming nothing crazy happens in this off season. If they still have King James along with most of that surrounding cast including Shaq they will be top notch like this years team. You have alot of shooters and height which has always been a key element in any NBA 2K game to contain the cheese vulnerable paint. At #4 look out for the completely over rated NBA 2K11 Warriors. This is one of the most fun teams to play with because of that run and gun style they play, the speed they have, and that 3 point shooting. Why they are so over rated is because you have shut down defensive players/shot blockers like Turiaff, Biedrin, and Randolph coming back most likely. Not to mention you have one of the best teams in the game at forcing turnovers with Curry and Ellis crazy at steals. So not only will this be a deadly NBA 2K11 team i see them being serious in the regular season as well next year assuming they can stay healthy. Remember Kelina Azubuike is coming back also who is much like Morrow shooting lights out from the perimeter. At #3 the LA Lakers will be brutal to hang with in NBA 2K11. We all know about the talent, depth, and height this team has. The problem with the Lakers is no one can shoot lights out from deep – 3 point land. So they are only a 1 dimensional team so when playing them this year or next your only concern really is to lock up the paint. At #2 the Blazers are going to be amazing. A healthy blazers team consists of the best interior defense in the game, crazy depth, 3 point shooters, and a superstar in Brandon Roy who plays similar to Kobe Bryant does in NBA 2K games. Greg Oden, Joel Pryzbilla, and Marcus Camby in the paint? Good look trying to score on those giant ridiculous shot blockers. At #1 the Rockets are going to be the greatest NBA 2K team ever put together next year in NBA 2K11. Yao Ming is back so that automatically puts this team in the top 5 because of how over ridiculous 7ft6 Ming plays in these games. You will have lock down defensive players in Ariza and Battier who are both very tall and can help out in the paint. Jefferis is another huge body in the paint who is one of the best defensive players in the NBA. And guards that explode at any time like the Warriors (Keven Martin and Arron Brooks.) And i didn’t even mention Scola and Hill. So with all of this said the Rockets will be the best team by A MILE in NBA 2K11.
