NBA 2K10 Injured Players Coming Back!

NBA 2K10 Yao Ming

The 2K Insider has recently said all injured and inactive players will be back on the active team rosters once the NBA Finals completes. This means you will be able to use these players online in ranked matches and custom matches. So i think that the Rockets and Blazers will easily be the top teams in the game to ball with. We all know how dominate Yao Ming is in NBA 2K10. He’s been the most unstoppable player in the game since NBA 2K7. His 7ft6 height towers over defensive players trying to contest his shots making it nearly impossible to alter his shot forcing a miss. Not to mention his unlimited rebounds and blocked shots he gets as well. Although i wonder if Hasheem Thabeet will be able to get a body on him in the paint at 7ft3 he has the second biggest body in the game – that may be able to contend with Ming. Portland Trailerblazers is another team to look out for. They will have the most depth in the game and by far the best defense for shutting down the paint. You will have Oden, Pryzbilla, and Camby which are 3 of the very best interior defensive bigs in the game. Throw aldrige in the mix as well and you will have crazy height and shot blockers on the court at all times in either your first or second rotation.

NBA 2K11 John Wall

I was checking out some of the saved rosters and what not on the 2K Share.. And i was surprised to see some pretty cool stuff to download. Some dudes are spending alot of time on making realistic rosters and fantasy teams. One of the top 10 most downloaded roster files was the Kentucky Wildcats team. I was really surprised to see how good of a job this guy did with accurate player ratings, player animations and packages, signature shots, etc… Kentucky has 5 players entering the NBA draft this summer which is incredible so it was interesting to get a feel for how some of these players would stack up against other NBA 2K teams. So for those who are excited about NBA 2K11 i highly suggest you check out this roster that can be downloaded on the 2K Share. The only thing i thought was a bit off was John Walls dunk rating which is a 94. Is John Wall that ridiculous with the slamming?

NBA 2K11 Team Ratings

Some people hate on the 2k insider and others love him. That’s fine everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but one thing that is a fact – Overall team ratings are super inaccurate. This image above is just show casing one example of this. the Nets, one of the worst NBA teams of all time apparently are a better team then the Milwaukee Bucks? They really are in the game. In fact i would say the Nets are a top 15 team in the entire game. You got Harris and Lopez which is a better dual to bring online than half of the teams in this game. I know overall team rating at times can be reduced due to things like injury’s or Arenas bringing a gun to practice. But overall you can look at numerous examples of this each week when the 2K Insider updates the rosters. So let’s hope NBA 2K11 can portray teams more accurately (and players) because its a serious part of the game. The Insider needs to watch the NBA and play NBA 2K11 next season himself for this to happen and stop relying on SportsCenter to do his job.
